At the Y, We Prevent Drowning

When Cade joined the YMCA swim program, water safety was especially important to his family. He began with hesitation, but through patient instruction and a supportive, inclusive environment, he gained confidence, learning to walk and float in deeper water while building trust with YMCA volunteers.

At the Y, We Help Kids Succeed

Through the YMCA, Asher found a nurturing environment where he could build confidence, learn, and grow before entering elementary school. Open communication and caring staff fostered his family's sense of trust and belonging.

At the Y, We Prepare Teens for Life

Through her own journey, Ya’ziah found belonging and growth at the Y, and now leads with resilience, compassion, and a commitment to creating inclusive spaces where every young person feels valued.

At the Y, We Help People Grow Healthier in Spirit, Mind, and Body

Kathy’s journey changed in 2023 when she was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery and radiation. Because of the tumor’s location, she sometimes needs extra time to process, but she continues to show up with determination and courage.
