As a member of the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, you are included in a nationwide membership network of YMCAs. The information in this network is used solely by the “The Y” as the “National Council of Young Men’s Christian Associations of the United States of America and its independent and autonomous member associations”. The Y respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. A requirement of nationwide membership is sex offender screening of members. The Y does provide your personal information for a nationwide lookup in the sex offender registry database.
The Y does not sell or otherwise disclose user information collected on this site or offline with any other outside organization. We do not sell or exchange your information with any other organization, public, private, or non-profit.
JOINING ONLINE, PROGRAM REGISTRATION, AND ONLINE DONATIONS
In order to use some of the features on this website, including online program registration, membership, and donations, visitors must submit billing and contact information. The YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas shall process donations, membership dues, and program fees, and will be the sole owner of the information and will not sell, share, or rent this information to outside parties.
The YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas may send mailings, emails, or other means of communication to donors, members, and program participants. You may opt out of these communications by sending a request to our marketing department to be removed from future communications.
